Description

The Guinea Commercial Agriculture Development Project (PDACG) is a structural transformation program aimed at shifting Guinean agriculture from a subsistence model to a competitive commercial model. Its intervention strategy focuses on removing bottlenecks across the entire value chain: from production (access to inputs) to marketing (rural roads, markets, processing), while also promoting private investment. Initially scheduled to end in 2026, the project has been extended, now running until 2029, to consolidate investments and amplify expected impacts.

Objectives

📈 Increased private investment:
Stimulate private flows into inclusive agricultural value chains.

👩‍🌾 Sustainable job creation:
Generate agricultural and agro-industrial jobs throughout Guinea.

️ Improved market access:
Rehabilitate rural roads and logistics infrastructure to reduce costs and increase competitiveness.

💼 Institutional strengthening:
Support reforms, capacity building, and environmental support for sustainable commercial agriculture.
