Description

The Economic Resilience and Green Recovery Support Program (ERGRSP) is a programmatic program structured in three successive annual phases covering the years 2024, 2025, and 2026. Designed as a budget support and reform instrument, the program is implemented under the leadership of the African Development Bank, co-financed by the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund, with close coordination among technical and financial partners. Phase 1 (2024) laid the groundwork for priority reforms. Phase 2 (2025, ongoing) deepens economic governance, diversification, support for the private sector, and the integration of the green recovery. Phase 3 (2026) will consolidate the achievements, strengthen the sustainability of the reforms, and maximize their structural impact. Its intervention logic is based on three pillars: improving productivity through employment and innovation, strengthening climate resilience through sustainable infrastructure, and mobilizing private financing for sustainable development.

💼 Boost economic productivity:
Create jobs for young people and women, streamline business operations, and promote tourism innovation.
