Description

The CHEMS Technical Assistance project aims to promote investment in decentralized renewable energy (DRE), specifically photovoltaic (PV) solar systems for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Tunisia. The strategy combines technical support for integrating PV systems into productive activities, reducing energy costs and carbon footprint, facilitating access to financing, and developing a local financial ecosystem capable of supporting these investments.

Objectives

🚀 Develop the PV digital platform:
Develop a web and mobile solution for SMEs, integrating photovoltaic system sizing simulations, loss calculations, and financial project modeling.

💰 Facilitate access to financing:
Provide cash flow analyses and banking tools to address the investment gap in solar energy among SMEs.

🔧 Strengthen the capacities of ecosystem stakeholders:
Train SMEs, banks, and installers on photovoltaic self-consumption, net metering, and project profitability analysis.

🌍 Promote solar self-consumption:
Promote the adoption of photovoltaics (PV) by Tunisian SMEs through net metering, leading to reduced energy costs and indirect savings.
