Description

The Ngandajika Agro-Industrial Development Support Program (PRODAN) is a pilot phase focused on establishing an agro-industrial park in Ngandajika. This project is based on a public-private partnership (PPP) whose objective is to make the infrastructure operational and attract private investors for the processing of local agricultural products. Its intervention strategy is based on reducing massive food imports, creating added value in priority supply chains, and promoting regional economic integration.

Objectives

🌍 Reduce rural poverty:
Contribute to the creation of sustainable jobs and incomes for over one million people in the area of ​​influence.

✅ Improve food security:
Develop local processing to reduce imports and ensure access to markets and inputs.

🏭 Develop key infrastructure:
Make the agropole viable and create an environment conducive to private agribusiness investment.

📈 Add value to priority value chains:
Strengthen agricultural value chains for sector growth exceeding 6% annually.
